Top of the Pops 2 was on, the usual shite playin and then this gem appeared!
Ive always had a place for power ballads in my heart, purely for their big haired, bare chested lunacy! I have not yet bought a power balled compilation but it on the cards after this!
So today's track is The Scorpions - Wind Of Change.
I guess i would also say that today i encourage you to celebrate all power ballads, whatever form they take. Not only this one (although it is a hilariously classic example) but all of them.
Think of your appreciation as a tip of the hat to the decade that brought us big hair, leather pants and of course the ambassador of cool Patrick Swayze!
